APL 20k A Day Challenge for May!

Ok, lots of rhyming for this blog title, but I needed it to be catchy! I just wanted to make our last month leading into Summer a move it to lose it 31 days! The weather is getting nicer, the bikini is getting closer and closer and we all know the drinks flow a bit more during the warm months, so let’s shake a tail feather every-single-day to be prepped and ready to party!

The APL #20kaday challenge is absolutely feasible. If 10k is meant to be the average Jane’s daily dose of steps, we are confident any APL’er is far and beyond capable to crush that and DOUBLE it!

What to do: grab a fitness device (we use the Nike Fuel Band SE, but a FitBit or Jawbone UP also have pedometers, so you can use whichever you prefer.) Wear it morning, noon, and night and get to 20,000 steps. This includes your morning APL fat-burning workout and should also include you making a bigger effort to walk, walk, walk. Take the stairs, skip the car for a few of your stops everyday, go a longer route when you’re on your feet, add in an evening exercise walk or quick run…there are SO many ways to get your move on.
