A.M. Quinoa Bowl with Strawberry-Chia Jam

Toss out the oatmeal for a morning or two and try some quinoa instead! With protein + fiber-filled goodness, this ancient grain is a healthy start to your day! Prep 1 cup of the quinoa according to the package instructions + serve 1/2 cup with a dash of unsweetened hemp milk, 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract, a pinch of unsweetened shredded coconut + cacao nibs, then a few tasty TB of the APL strawberry-chia jam (see what you need + how to make it below.)

What You Need:

  • 4 cups organic frozen strawberries,
  • 1/4 cup coconut nectar,
  • 3 TB chia seeds,
  • dash of sea salt,
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

To Make:

simmer over medium heat until soft; roughly 8-10 minutes. Store in a glass jar + refrigerate. Best if heated when served.
