Friggen’ Fantastic Volcanic Rice Bowl

We steamed some LOTUS Foods Volcanic red rice + topped it with fresh chopped veggies for a colorful, nutrient-dense lunch and decided a Wasabi sauce was a perfect topper.

Prep the rice + serve 1/2 cup in a bowl with 1-2 cups of chopped veggies-of-choice (pictured: daikon radish, yellow + red bell pepper, carrots, cucumber, Portobello mushroom.) Top with some raw sesame seeds, minced fresh ginger, + 1/2 of the wasabi sauce!

What You Need:

  • 2 TB tahini
  • 1 TB hemp oil
  • 1 TB brown rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp Bragg’s liquid aminos
  •  1-2 tsp wasabi paste, to taste

To Make:

  1. Seriously throw this stuff in a bowl, whisk, + enjoy 1/2 of the mix atop your bowl!
