Cauliflower Rice with Black Pepper Sauce

Spice. It. Up. That’s a big motto repeated in the APL Kitchen on a weekly basis as we hit the kitchen to create some seriously scrumptious dishes for you all to eat your way to a healthy lifestyle…this one is now a quick go-to fave!

Cauliflower Rice with Black Pepper Sauce

What You Need:

  • 1 head organic cauliflower, chopped into small florets (using a high speed blender on chop is ideal)
  • 1 cup peas, defrosted
  • 1 cup organic carrot, chopped
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp Bragg’s liquid aminos
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 TB fresh ground black pepper

To Make:

  1. Steam the cauliflower until al dente and set aside.
  2. Place sesame oil (roughly 1 TB) in a large skillet over medium heat- let warm for 30 seconds. Add in the onion, carrot, cauliflower, + peas -cook until lightly browned. Set aside.
  3. Meanwhile, mix together the oyster sauce through the black pepper and place it in a mason jar or glass tupperware.
  4. Plate 1 cup of the “rice” mix with 1 1/2 TB of the black pepper sauce drizzled over it when ready to eat!
