Maple-Sesame Millet

This just screams: “comfort food!” Changing up your grains keeps things interesting and just the most minor thing like making up new sauces can give you an exciting new flavor profile. This is TA-STY!

Maple-Sesame Millet

makes 2 servings

What You Need:

  • 1 cup millet; prepared
  • 1/2-1 cup grated carrot
  • 2 TB currants
  • 2 TB scallions, chopped
  • 3 TB tahini
  • 3 TB unsweetened hemp milk
  • 3 TB coconut nectar
  • 1 TB raw black sesame seeds

To Make:

  1. Prep the millet according to package instructions, set aside in a mixing bowl and toss in the carrot, currrants, + scallions.
  2. Mix together the tahini, hemp milk, nectar, + sesame seeds with a whisk.
  3. Mix the millet + sauce together- serve half in a bowl for lunch + enjoy!
