Non Processed VLOG recipe: Seaweed Salad with Miso Dressing

Seaweed Salad with Miso Dressing

Makes 1 serving with extra dressing

What You Need:

  • 1 cup wakame, hydrated in water
  • dash od sesame oil
  • dash of rice vinegar
  • raw sesame seeds
  • ½ cup edamame, shelled + steamed or raw
  • 1 cup purple cabbage, shredded
  • ½ cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 2-3 jalapeno slices
  • 5 cucumber slices
  • 1 radish, sliced
  • 4 avocado slices, mashed
  • 3-4 papaya slices (or pineapple or mango if not available)
  • 1 cup pan-grilled shrimp tails
  • Optional: sliced scallions

For the dressing:

  • 2 TB brown miso paste
  • 1/3 cup rice vinegar
  • 6 TB avocado oil
  • dash of raw sesame seeds, black or white
  • optional: red pepper flakes or Sriracha to add spice

To Make:

  1. Simply plate the ingredients as listed, mix the dressing ingredients in a small bowl
  2. Serve 2 TB of dressing with the plate of veggies all mixed together
