KETO Diet Approved Smoothie

This smoothie is keto-friendly because it is high in fat, adequate in protein and low in carbohydrates. Generally, the macronutrient ratio for meals can vary within the following ranges: 60-75% of calories from fat, 15-30% of calories from protein, and 5-10% of calories from carbs. That’s basically a slice of bread per day. So say hello to a low-carb veg like spinach!

INGREDIENTS:

  • ½ cup coconut milk (fat)
  • 1/2 TB MCT coconut oil drops (fat)
  • 1 scoop collagen protein powder
  • ½ avocado (fat)
  • 1 TB sunflower seed butter (fat)
  • handful of spinach
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Stevia (to taste)
  • a handful of ice cubes

Simply blend together + enjoy!
