Nutrition Quiz: evaluate your eating IQ

PRACTICING MINDFULNESS…by checking in with yourself + HOW you eat

WHY? Conscious eating is how we should all be approaching mealtime. Know your habits, identify your healthy eating IQ, remember that being mindful takes practice…If we don’t check in with ourselves and ask the questions about not just what, but how we eat, we won’t be prepared for what changes we might need to make to be healthier.

ACTIVE PARTICIPATION

Let’s sit down, snag a piece of paper, + write out the answers to these questions from what you can recall the past week.

TAKE MY QUIZ ON HOW YOU EAT!

GRAB A PEN + HONESTLY ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:

* How many meals did you sit down for at a set table?

* How many meals were planned ahead of time?

* Did you portion out your meals onto a plate or in Tupperware?

* How often did you eat out? Did you look up the restaurant menu or nutrition ahead of time?

* Be honest about how many melas you sped through…eating quickly as if on a time clock.

* How often did you bring lunch or prepared snacks?

* How many times did you skip a meal?

I could ask so much more, but this is a start. Were you surprised by your answers? Do your answers make you feel confident in your eating habits or have you sit an pause for a second?

HOW-TO IMPROVE YOUR HABITS

Here are some basics to get started with in respect to the questions above + the answers I would hope my clients would give…

* Commit to the sit as often as you can for “thoughtful” + premeditated meals!

* Plan ahead by mastering weekly meal prep with Ashley’s 4 P’s: plan, purchase, prep, portion…DM me- I have 1:1 coaching lessons for 1/2 off through January on ZOOM that I record for you + send to you for keeps!

* Portion. Be mindful by always portioning out your food.

* Know where + what you are eating and go with the tools to eat out healthy

* Slow down…chew, think, chew again.

* Be prepared for “on-the-go” meals when away from home

* Eat 3, balanced meals/day…no skipping.
